As the demand for our services increase, we welcome the possibility of new psychologists to elevate our internationally recognized clinical and forensic practice.
If you are a licensed or license-eligible, early-career psychologist and are interested in our specializations, we would like to hear from you. Our work involves the evaluation and treatment of licensed professionals in the context of making professional fitness to practice determinations. Our clientele are those who have professional behavioral difficulties, challenging personalities, substance use disorders, and mental health problems that have resulted in regulatory scrutiny and licensure difficulties.
Acumen Assessments partners, Drs. Peter Graham and Scott Stacy, provide mentorship and additional specialty training in the field of evaluation and treatment of licensed professionals (physicians, psychologists, lawyers/judges, chiropractors, dentists, and other professions) whose professional careers are in jeopardy and who require rehabilitation for emotional, behavioral, and ethical reasons.
Our ideal applicants will have significant training and experience in administering and interpreting personality and cognitive tests. It will also be helpful to have experience working with multidisciplinary team-based diagnostic evaluations. Additionally, we would like our candidates to have experience in providing psychotherapy focused on emotional, behavioral, addiction problems, and personality/character disorders.
We are located in Lawrence, Kansas...a charming and vibrant university town 40 minutes west of Kansas City.
This position includes competitive benefits and for individuals showing interest and aptitude in the work, the possibility of associate and (eventual) partnership status in the practice. Compensation commensurate with level of experience.
